The team

Craig Thompson

Appointed by our parent company to launch the European business Craig has been involved within the WEEE industry since 2003 well before the legislation came into force in July 2007.

With his innovative ideas for collections, treatment, reuse and recycling of WEEE he is focused on creating one of Europe's largest WEEE recycling companies over the next few years. Securing contracts for over 20,000 tonnes of WEEE from the launch of the UK operation has rocketed Sunersol into the top five of UK WEEE recyclers.

Vikki Taylor

Vikki is our compliance manager ensuring Environment Agency returns and customer reports are generated on time and comply with the relevant legislation. With over 2 years experience working in the WEEE reporting industry Vikki has a wealth of knowledge on ensuring compliance with WEEE reporting.

Sam Riley

Our Senior Office Administrator ensuring the office runs smoothly along with the completion of reports for customers and the agency. Based at our Mirfield head office Sam also spends time at our recycling facility in Heckmondwike assisting with administration, vehicle movements, weighing and transport.

Steven Kilburn

Our Health, Safety and ISO manager Steve has joined the company from the UK's largest independent lubricant manufacturer and is used to handling all aspects of health, safety and quality management. Steve and Sunersol operate ISO9001, 14001 and 18001 certifications ensuring compliance for the company, its customers and employees.

Mark Bailey

Mark looks after our pallet scale weighing system within our recycling facility ensuring all in bound and out bound pallets are weighed for accurate reporting to customers and the agency. Using our central bar code generating software system for stock taking and container loading of raw materials generated.

Andrew Spencer

Andrew, is from a manufacturing background, working as our reuse production supervisor. Andrew handles the throughput of production in selecting, testing and shipping of tested electrical equipment for our reuse brand Electrofarm (www.theelectrofarm.com). With a planning application recently submitted for a 35,000 square feet industrial unit specifically for reuse, along with a retail / trade sales counter, Andrew's coming months are likely to be very busy along with recruiting over 30 new operatives.

Simon Boyd

Simon joined Sunersol in 2011 as our Operations Manager having a raft of experience from two large WEEE recycling companies, overseeing over 1700 tonnes per month of inbound material for treatment as well as processing and outbound shipments of raw material.

Glynn Dunkley

Our Sales Manager Glynn works closely on major accounts with waste management companies, retailers, manufacturers and compliance schemes on providing nationwide solutions on the collect, reuse and recycling of all forms of electrical products. Glynn has a wealth of industry knowledge, collections can be made using Sunersol’s fleet of hook load, demountable fork lift or tail lift vehicles available as rigid or articulated units, gate pricing is also available for customers wanting to utilise their own transport.

Michelle Wright

Michelle is our book keeper ensuring customer and supplier ledgers are kept up to date and in order along with operating the companies growing payroll, Michelle joined Sunersol in 2011 and also looks after Electrofarm accounts transactions from our reuse electrical web site.

Tanya Green

Working at our Mirfield head office Tanya works on administration and reporting to customers and organises transport for collections from our household waste recycling contracts.
